You Have Permission To Be Happy

It’s ok to let the past rest

It’s time to move on

It’s time to stop giving your pain power

Your feelings are valid

I see you

Come back home to yourself

There’s healing

In the path moving forward

Anchored

I’ve anchored myself

In your love

Pulled you into the depth

Of my arms

Kissed you slowly

As if time was mine to

Command

I’ve painted your soul

Upon my skin

So the world could see

This ebullient love

I called mine

Sometimes Love is Eternal

I’ve had enough

I’ve wiped my hands clean

The breaking is evident

I’ve loved and lost

I’ll clean up the mess

You’ve made of me

My bones are weeping

Begging me to look inward

To step in from the cold

To let you go

If only my bones know

That I’ve been loving you

Since the dawn of time

And sometimes love

Is eternal

Embrace The Gift That You Are

Peace

I am sending you hope

And love and light and goodness

Wrap your arms around your

Beautiful wholeness

And embrace the gift that you are

You might not be feeling

Like yourself right now

But there’s a tincture of light

Behind those dark clouds

Turn your face towards the sun

And let it fill you with peace

Are You Listening

Photo by mauro savoca on Pexels.com

I am still hopeful

Deep down in the silence

Beneath the darkness

A flame still burns

I’ve seen too much

I’ve endured too much

I’ve prayed too much

To give in now

I’m painting a rainbow

Over my scars

I’m washing the ugliness

From my tongue

I am speaking to the mountains

And the walls and the empty spaces

Receptive souls will hear

The broken heart will hear

Grieving families will hear

The children will hear

The confused and disillusion will hear

They will come

They will listen

For in our bellies

Rooted deep we have an innate

Desire to see change

To feel hopeful

So today

Come as you are

Hear my voice

Let change begin with you

One voice

One word

Softly spoken

Are you listening

Protect Your Soul

You will feel the decay

On the edges of your soul

You will

See the answers but will be

Unable to grasped it

The days became heavy

Darkness walks about

Looking for souls

On the verge of collapsing

Poetry Today

Give Yourself Grace

If you are feeling worn out and tired. If your heart is tied up in knots and there are darks clouds gathering in your soul.

Give yourself permission to let go. You are worthy, you are able, you are enough.

This season of hardship and chaos will pass, and you will once again feel peace in your soul.

Give yourself grace today!

Poetry Today

Roar

They will break you

Slowly they will watch you crash and burn
Under critical eyes they will steal your joy
They will laugh at your shame
But
They forget that pain builds strength

And heartache builds character
And soon your fractured soul will rise
And the world will hear
You roar

A Battle Cry of Freedom

Pinterest

…and we are daughters of silence no more. What was meant to drown us has filled our lungs with embolden truth. We are rising, we are making it known that fear no longer controls us. We are no longer weak and selfless, we are survivors, walking the path of self healing and soul restoration.

….and we are victims of abused no more. We are coming home with your hearts bloody and raw. We will wear our pain like a crown because we have fought and won. These are my sisters, forged in fire, bound by blood. Look at us, remember our faces, traced our scars from generation to generations we have stood in the gap, passing down a legacy, a battle cry of freedom.
