Apple Blossoms

I’ve loved you

Ever since the Apple Trees

Blossomed

And the smell filled me

Up

With a deep longing

To hold You

To kiss every line

on your ambrosial

Face

There’s no more

Space

In me

I’m no longer my own

Self

Love buried in a field of

Apples

Your eyes

Supine

Begging the heavens

To let this moment

last

Forever

Take me to that place….

Take me to that place

Where our souls

Can be drenched with beauty

Show me the wonders

Of your thoughts

Your aesthetic words are infinite

Pulling heaven down

A little closer

Resting deeply

In your embrace©

Poetry Today

To see you again…I would shake the heavens

Eyes supine

Beneath the Aurora of heaven

The pain of lost

Induced conflicting emotions

The need to reach up

And touch you

The impossible task of letting go

Oh….to feel you again

To see another dawn

Rises in your eyes

I would shake the heavens©
