Forgive Them

There’s a light in your heart when you know within yourself that you hold no grievance in your soul for anyone.

When you forgive, know that you are healing and building a future free from the baggage and torment of your past.

Know that forgiveness is accepting that, yes, what you did hurt me, but I will no longer allow hatred and unforgiveness to live in my heart.

I forgive, so freedom can sing in my bones.

I forgive, so I can be the best version of myself.

I forgive, so I can give myself a future.

I forgive, so my heart is free to bless others.

I forgive, so I can teach my kids about the power of forgiveness.

I forgive, so God can use me.

I forgive, so I can pray without hinderance.

Forgiveness is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. It unshackles your mind and body and help you to see the bigger picture.

Don’t let what people say about you get into your soul!

Photo by Evgenia Basyrova on Pexels.com

Don’t let what people say about you get into your soul. The lie and the disbelief will seep into your bones and make you a believer of their viperous tongue.

You know who you are, you know what you’ve been through, you know how you got here, you know the prayers that were spoken over you, you know that you are bless, so why do you let people limit you with their words, their actions, their thoughts and their ideology?

Stop holding on to the season you’re in, stop giving your time and attention to people who are stagnant, who refuse to grow and move, who would rather pull you down than see you rise.

Don’t you see you’ve outgrown this space; you’ve outgrown their friendship, don’t you understand that they don’t deserve your love, your kindness, your truth and your energy.

Let them go, break the attachment, this is a new season and sometimes you have to walk into it alone. You have the power within you to claim and overcome everything that has stopped you from moving forward. This is your time, your season, to make that extraordinary move.

People need to see your light; it’s bursting out from beneath your burnt-out soul. Take a breath, calm yourself and prepare your heart so the light and go through you.

I hope this post helps you to look at where your energy and time is being spent. You have things to accomplish, places to visit and people to love. Make sure you are on the right track by evaluating your connections.

Here’s a poem from Sackcloth & Silk my new Poetry collection.

There’s a story inside of you

Of moonlight and magic

Of bravery and love

A light deep within

The darkness

A glimpse of hope

That the world needs

To see

Thank you for sharing this space with me.

Remember this……🦋

Your worth is not define

By your circumstances

Remember this

Next time you feel useless

Broken and empty

Find strength in the things

That makes you unique

And when you are ready

Rise up

Shake the dust from your soul

And bloom©

Let faith rise again….

Needing

A little depth of peace

Soul holding on to emptiness

Love taken for granted

Just once

Let faith rise again

In the heart

Of people©

Forgiven

woman-571715_960_720

I stand on the edge of despair

Eyes cast down

I gave up sometimes

Fearing I might not make it

Yet I keep holding on

Each day

I cry

Deep dark tears

Emptying my soul

I stumbled, falling, grasping

I keep holding on

I stand in the shadows

And there

I cried

My face masking

The pain that ripped at my heart

Deep, dark pain

Filling my soul with emptiness

I tried to remember a scripture

I once learned

The Lord is

My Shepard I shall not want

He made me

To lie down in green pastures

He restores my soul

I felt hope

Stirring within me

So I hold on

I knelt

Eyes to the ground

Praying, Seeking,

And there on my knees

He restores my soul

He refresh my mind

I cling to Him

And with a heart of love

He sets me free

I am crying now

But there’s no pain

No sorrow, no doubt

Only tears of Joy

I’m redeemed

Lifted up

I’ve found comfort

I’m free

To rest in His arms

Now I knelt

Eyes lifted towards heaven

And with a shout of victory

I know I’ve been forgiven

I rejoice in His presence

I step fourth in faith

And hope and love©

The Faithful Must Stand

When darkness rest upon our lips
And all hope seems lost
Who among us will stand up
And pay the cost

When sorrow fill our hearts
And grieve blocks our way
Will there be one faithful enough
To fight for us this day

Should I run and hide
As we die in mournful numbers
Or will the faithful
Stand up and remember

Remember the days
When the world stood strong
Believing that with God
Nothing can go wrong

Now I called the faithful believer
To stand up and be brave
To stop the plans of the enemy
And pull us back from the grave
