The Ghost Within….
Moments caught
Off guard
The elemental truth
Unleashed from within
The eloquent fire
Of things you knew
Things you are afraid to say
And Midnight tears
Cannot Suffused the
Pain
And
The way your stealth disguise
Shameful layers
Glowed on painted skin
Hiding the black
And
The blue
The needles harsh
Flesh wounds
Sinking down
Down into the abyss
Of self degradation
Humiliation
Deterioration
Never to care
Never to feel
Never to rise
A life sentence
Of self-righteous
discrimination
Your ghost
Like Paper moon
Haunts the living
And the dead
No way back
No way out
